About Keri...
Luckily enough I was one of those kids that always knew what I wanted to do when I grew up I wanted to be a writer.
Bitten by the bug at 12, my love of books and magazines grew over the years, and I worked my way through my GCSEs and A Levels to get a place at City University, London, which I walked away from with a BA Hons in Journalism and Sociology in 1999.
Over that time I did placements and freelance work for my local papers and national magazines such as NME, and my first full-time journalist job was helping the team at Playstation Plus redesign their mag. From there I moved to a role at Electronics Times, and entered the world of technology writing. Walking in with only simple knowledge of semiconductors, I'm now fluent in the language of engineers!
I became a freelance journalist in 2000 and never looked back. I then took the leap of also entering the world of videogame journalism, where i’ve now got a strong work-base alongside my technology outlets. The joy of writing about a different subject every week keeps my work exciting, and I'm proud to say my general knowledge continues to grow, across the board, as the challenge of writing about new topics day after day keeps my brain more than active.
I enjoy writing about a wide range of topics that encompass both my professional interests (technology, Internet lifestyle, materials handling industry ) as well as personal interests (videogames, science fiction, film and music, special effects, home technology, health and travel).
