PSP Go preview

The latest iteration of the PlayStation Portable (PSP), the PSP Go is finally pocket-sized, being over 50 per cent smaller and 40 per cent lighter than the original. Marketed in the same way as the PS3 – a multimedia hub rather than just a gaming console, it also offers music, photo and video playback, as well as web surfing and wireless connectivity. The sliding 3.8” screen is just as vibrant and bright, but the UMD format is long gone, replaced with digital downloads via the PlayStation Store, stored on 16GB of internal memory or removable Memory Stick Micros. Controls work well on most games, although large hands may struggle, but stick to your phone for surfing on the move.
